Saturday

  • Wake up time you plan to get up
  • Eat what you plan to eat race day  (continental breakfast might be provided)

5:15     Transition opens

  • Set up transition
  • Drop run bags and finish bags

5:45     Mandatory warmup swim

6:00     Swim start,  mass start on north side of pier

  • Swim ~ 1.2 miles
  • 2 loops with a run in between

6:30 ish

  • Transition to bike
  • All gear placed in provided bag before leaving transition

6:30-14:00

  • Ride and run
  • Ride 1.5 loops of triangle  = 60 miles
  • Sag wagon(s) with bike mechanic provided by Paco’s  
  • Transition to run
  • Run bike trail into Squaw back out down river
  • Finish at Squaw Valley Park entrance
  • Finish
  • Brown bag lunch provided by Men Welding Fire
  • Option to ride back to KB or take shuttle

17:00

  • Gather by pool to discuss the day with drinks/ snacks
  • Questions and answers

18:00

  • Dinner at local restaurant within walking distance

 

Sunday

7:00-7:30

  • Continental Breakfast for those staying at Crown
  • Otherwise on your own

7:30-9:00

  • Early morning swim- clinic with Rob Laurie

9:00-10:30

  • Yoga on the beach
